Pastor Defends Wife Showing Breasts In Revealing Dress

Meagan Good was brought to tears when someone criticized her clothing choices at a Church event, but the actress' husband, DeVon Franklin, defended his wife's honor.

During the event which was live-streamed all over the world, one woman questioned the 34-year-old actress about her clothing choices.

"This is not offensive, but I was at the grocery store and I looked at a newsstand and saw you, and you had your breasts showing. I wasn't going to come here, but the Lord brought me here to see you," the woman told Good. "You are a beautiful young woman and your testimony is awesome. The Lord let me come and push past the judgment because you have to make sure what you say and what you do match up, you understand?"

 

When the woman concluded her statement by asking Good if she would "cover-up," her husband and the president of Franklin Entertainment stepped in.

"Wait a minute. No! That is not what we're here for," Franklin firmly told the woman. "She's not gonna cover up, she is gonna wear what she wants to wear in the name of Jesus, amen. Amen?"

The exchange left Good emotional, and she was seen wiping tears from her face. Franklin, the 37-year-old preacher who co-authored The Wait with his wife made sure to express love for the woman while defending his wife's Christian faith.

"God bless you, we love you. I love you dearly, but she has been a Christian as she is right now. She wore whatever she wanted to wear. So no, we ain't doing that," he said. "Y'all about to see another Devon that y'all ain't never seen! Remember, I'm from Oakland now!"

While the audience was amused at Franklin's response, Meagan Good decided to address the issue firsthand.

"I'd like to say one thing. I could've addressed what she said and it would take me a while to address it because I have very specific feelings about that," she said. "But I just want to say to that young lady, however, you feel, if that's how you really feel, then pray for me. And God bless you."

Meagan Good has not shied away from choosing clothing options with a plunging neckline or exposed skin and admitted to being upset with her critics from within the Church after receiving their negative responses. Last year the couple appeared as speakers at the Essence Festival empowerment panel where they spoke about overcoming harsh criticism from the Church.

"It kind of made me upset with the Church for a while. People don't know what they do, but you have to love them regardless," she said. "But you have to own your truth."

Although her husband is a preacher, he supported his wife and shared his perspective on the matter.

God expects us to dress modestly. God doesn't hate nice clothes but He wants us to present our bodies in a humble manner and not show it all to others in the various venues we appear at. 

 

Today I see men and women, who are tattooed from head to toe, piercings on lips, mouths, nose, and topping it all off with button-stretched ear lobes. Green hair, blue hair, purple hair. Short tight dresses with half their boobs sticking out. 

Let's not forget those who wear their pants down to their knees with their underwear barely covering their butts and always pulling up and tugging up their pants. As Christians, we are to be an example of Christ living in us. 

Sadly, I feel all of it, is a desperate plea for attention. If people make others look at them, or their manner of dress, or the distraction of tattoos, piercings, or body displays, one is seeking attention. 

Even negative attention, because they are empty inside and trying to fill the void with attention.

Now for the Pastors who are always afraid to preach the Truth because he will offend their members, then he is not qualified to climb the altar and preach.

And if your pastor is always afraid to lose you in his Church, that is to tell you that he is afraid to lose you in the Church but he is not afraid to see you go to hellfire. Run away from such pastors!

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. ~Romans 12:1

Jesus taught a life of modesty, humility, peacefulness, avoidance of argument and strife, “turning the other cheek”, living right, doing right, consideration for your neighbor, simplicity, contentment with little, moral purity, virtue, and goodness. He preached against excessive pride, argument, strife, and anger. In Galatians 5 we read from Verse 19-26

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such, there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Youths Love To Wear Seductive Dressing

The word seductive means something attractive, alluring, or tempting or that which makes you want to do something that you would not otherwise do.

Now, What Is Seductive Dressing?

It is an improper way of dressing by exposing the sensitive parts of the body to seduce or an attitude of a person male or female that dresses to show off body parts in other to attract attention.

A Christian who dresses to attract attention or seduce consciously or unconsciously belongs to the devil.

Before you go out in the morning, ask yourself these questions:-

(1). Does my dressing describe me as a child of God?

(2). Am I comfortable in this dress?

(3). Will my dress seek attention, especially from the opposite sex?

(4). Can I preach the gospel comfortably with the way I look.

(5). Is my spirit comfortable with what I am wearing?

(6). What will people say about the way I look?

Can I Be Attested To As A Child Of God?

A friend of mine shared this story with me. She Said: There was a time I wore an ankle-length flair skirt to a program, my spirit was not comfortable with the skirt but I said it's a long and big skirt now, there's nothing wrong with it and I went to the program.

But brethren as soon as I got to the venue, I noticed a guy looking at my backside and I was so embarrassed and ashamed. 

I noticed that the skirt clings to my buttock and shows my pant lines despite being flair and I told God here and there that I will never wear that skirt out again.

This happened to me a lot until I finally concur with what the Holy Spirit was saying. (Don't mind me, I love fitted clothes).  

 

Apostle Paul In This Scripture Says,

But they should be recognized instead by their beautiful deeds of kindness, suitable as one who worships God. ~1 Timothy 2:10

 

Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary.  You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God! ~1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Let your true beauty come from your inner personality, not a focus on the external. For lasting beauty comes from a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is precious in God’s sight and is much more important than the outward adornment of elaborate hair, jewelry, and fine clothes. ~1 Peter 3:4

I slept around 10:20 PM, not quite long after laying on the bed, I heard God calling me audibly so I woke up. 

When I checked my time, it was 11:30 PM. Suddenly, I felt the urge to pray so I left the bedroom to the sitting room & started praying.

All of a sudden, my eyes opened and I was in another realm. I saw an array of ladies both young and old, very beautiful, coming from the sea side. 

And I asked God; who are these? And He said, "These are marine spirits that have been commissioned by the devil to drag many to the kingdom of darkness. His time is almost up and he has vowed to cause many to fall". I asked, why women? He responded, "They are not really women but are evil spirits that have taken a feminine form."

So I asked; what is their mission and he said, see! All of a sudden I saw, people having sex.

 

What amazed me was that some were having sex by the wayside, some in bushes, some on beaches, some in offices and in open places.  

 

So, I asked why? And he said "These are sent to spread lust and cause many to fall into the sin of fornication." He said, "Very soon, fornication will be legalized."

"The spirits are meant to befriend (make friends with) many young ladies, show them care and eventually initiate them to be used by the enemy."

 

I saw many young ladies! They were unsuspecting ladies (define ignorant) being initiated and as soon as they were initiated, they had an insatiable desire for sex.

I also saw sugar mummies luring young men with money and cars. Right after sleeping with them, they are gone.

I saw new dresses being introduced. Dresses that expose all parts of the body. In fact, I saw a very fair lady that was almost naked. About 3 quarter of her breast was exposed and the dress she wore was very transparent that one could virtually see her nakedness. 

Then I saw many people buying these dresses; skimpy short skirts and transparent leggings and blouses that expose the cleavage. 

Bleaching of the skin was on the rise. I saw them pouring potions on the eye to lure men with their eyes.

"Tell the church to watch", He said. "They will try to enter the Church, target Pastors and members, especially from choirs." I saw members of the church being possessed and sleeping with each other.

Amazingly, I saw two ladies in a particular choir that were lesbians. Then I saw men of God sleeping with members. Some slept with members before they mounted pulpits.

I saw that pastors are battling within but its kept hidden from the public but theit sexual sin is no secret to God.

Today, the celebrities are living in luxurious lifestyles but after death, they will go to a place of eternal torment if they do not repent and live right with our Holy God who is Holy and Righteousness. There is no nakedness and immodest fashion in the Kingdom of God.  

 

Why do Celebrities wear provocative clothing? Why do they wear revealing clothes? Here is the answer!

Because demons love nudity and nakedness. While they dress like a fool showing their skin, thighs, back, and breasts, the demons are laughing because he knows that men will stare, drool over and lust after them, so he (demons) can drag their soul to hell for lust.

In today's generation, there are many youths on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media who want to be Superstars. Most young ladies are quick to embrace the latest trend and copy their fashion. They want to dress like celebrities not knowing that satan is using the celebrities as a puppet to drag many souls to hell.

Sisters, let us be careful. Let us be very watchful and very vigilant not wearing any seductive clothing at all or any revealing clothing at all. 

If you belong to the World, then dress like the world, talk like the world, act like the world, walk like the world, dance like the world, party like the world, and have fun like the world. 

You can enjoy earthly pleasures but the gods of this world who are DEMONS will take your soul to hell for partaking in their activities of darkness.

If you are a child of God, then the Lord doesn't want His daughters wearing revealing clothes. That means no transparent clothes, no revealing clothes that will show your cleavage, your chest, your breasts, your thighs, your hips, your back, underarms, nothing of that sort.

When you look at the way some Christian women are dressing these days, you just stop and wonder where the church is going?

You can’t even differentiate between a prostitute and a true born again Christian. I remember one sister who testified that she was mistakenly approached by a man because he thought that she was a prostitute, because of her dressing.  

 

Really, nowadays you can’t even spot the difference between prostitutes and Christians because all dress in the same manner; miniskirts, trousers, open blouse, tattered clothes e.t.c

The bible says in, Romans 12: 1-2; Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Apostle Paul says DO NOT CONFORM TO THE PATTERN OF THIS WORLD; the world has got its own kind of dressing, they dress exposing their body parts seducing men. The world pattern of dressing for women is always there to expose their body parts wearing miniskirts, trousers, open blouse e.t.c A true born again; heaven bound Christian must not dress like a harlot.

Apostle Paul is urging us to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice; HOLY and pleasing to GOD. The way we dress does matter, we should dress in a Holy manner. There must be a clear difference between a born again; heaven bound Christian and prostitute; who is heading towards hell. A true born again Christian must dress in HOLY manner, she must cover her body parts not expose her body to seduce men.

In 1 Peter 2:9 it says; But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. The way you dress should be totally different from that of the world, dress like a peculiar women of GOD. Let your dressing be an example to the world out there. The worldly women must copy the dressing of a HOLY people, a peculiar people, they must be conformed to a holy image of holy women of GOD who are heading towards heaven.

The greatest apostasy or the great fall in the church, is women dressing like harlots and the Pastors, Bishops, Prophets or Shepherds are not even rebuking that kind of dressing in the house of GOD. They will tell you that outward dressing doesn’t matter GOD looks at the heart but the great Apostles like Paul and Peter rebuked immodestly outward adornment in 1 Timothy 2:9 and 1 Peter 3:3, they spoke about this issue in the church rebuking women of immoral dressing.

Beloved Sister in Christ, Don’t be fooled by anyone that GOD doesn’t look at the way you dress, this issue is very important in GOD’s eyes. GOD does look at the outside dressing and the heart as well, it’s very important to know the reason why GOD wants you to dress in a Holy manner.

Matthew 5:28, “But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” 

Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.  It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. So watch yourselves.

The main reason why women should not wear trousers, miniskirts, open blouses, or any clothing that exposes they private bodies parts, is because they (Women) will cause men to lust after them. Any type of clothing that exposes a woman's legs, thighs, breast, bums, cleavage, is immodest and sinful.

Generally men are sexually aroused by SIGHT. This is the great danger of women wearing any clothing that exposes their bodies. The issue here is a matter of death and life, because JESUS said in Matthew 5:28 if your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.  And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

JESUS made it clear that when men look after women lustful that is adultery, so in other words many men out there are living in adultery not because they have taken somebody’s wife and sleep with her but simply because they have looked lustful at women. Maybe you don't care, but God does. Immodestly dressed women cause men to lust thereby committing adultery. Sadly, many women enjoy such sensual attraction, making them feel good about themselves; but that is a very shallow and selfish attitude to have, and sinful I might add. John 12:43 tells us to seek the praise of God, not men.

There are godly men who are trying to maintain clean minds, and you're helping to hurt them spiritually. God will hold every woman accountable for EVERY lust she intentionally caused in men by her immodest apparel. 

Beloved Sister in Christ, JESUS CHRIST is coming soon for Holy women who dress modestly, women who are peculiar in their dressing. He is coming for true born again Christians who are pursuing Holiness and Righteousness.

If you die today wearing that miniskirts, trousers, open blouse you will not make it to Heaven, you will go to the pits of hell where the mother of harlots Jezebel is. Repent from wearing seductive clothing.

Remember this, Life is very short and no one knows the day when he/she dies and no one knows the day when the Messiah is Coming. It’s Time to amend your dressing and make heaven at last.

Dressing Like An Adulteress

Any christian lady who dresses like a whore with tight trousers, wigs, exposing breasts and thighs and claims to have light is a liar. 

Unless these repent, they will be accountable for offending the souls they misled to Hell fire in Gods day of Judgment.

Man women wear a bikini at the beach. A little sand and water shouldn't cause anyone to dress like a whore or a harlot. 

 

If you're not a Child of God, then I'm not surprised if you do wear them filthy garments.

However, if you're a professing Believer, you better repent immediately. You are causing men to lust and commit adultery with you in their heart's is very serious. 

If you do not desire to be Holy, then dress like a Child of God and not like the Worldly Christian. Our body is a temple of God.

You're either a bride for Christ or a whore for Satan.

Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves modestly and appropriately and discreetly in proper clothing, not with [elaborately] braided hair and gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but instead adorned by good deeds [helping others], as is proper for women who profess to worship God. ~1 Timothy 2:9-10 [AMP]

Sagging (Fashion)

Dear Holiness Brothers, whether visible or not visible from the outside, your underwear should not be peeping out of your trousers. It’s truly an “under” or “inner” wear. Let it stay inside.

Also, please avoid sagging trousers!

This is now a fashion trend. But, had initially started in the prison system, where inmates weren’t given belts or drawstrings due to risks for suicide and/or homicide. So, they had to wear sagging pants/trousers due to unavailability of trousers of right size or trousers with worn out elastic waist bands. 

 

These behaviors are indicative of seduction, emphasizing/ drawing attention to one’s “private organ”, attracts seductive spirits, familiar spirits, spirits of lust, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, welcomes homosexual advances etc.

Plump It Up! Vanity Upon Vanity

God have mercy on this modern generation.

Some women today are being injected lips enlargement chemical, inorder to make their lips supple and more appealing to the world. 

Lip fillers and lip augmentation is the latest technology to plump, add symmetry and define your lips.

This modern generation is terribly deceived by Satan, trying to use technology to counter the natural law of creation as ordained by God the creator.

Please do not fall into this manner of wickedness, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made and your body is just a temporal house (shelter) in the few years you live by God's grace in this fallen world.

Cleavage-Baring Wedding Dress

The cleavage-baring wedding dress and the blatant nude parties we now have at weddings are sorts of disturbing and horrifying. Even family members and guests at the wedding who believe in the sanctity of life (Holiness and godly character) deliberately take no notice of them. They have no sense of decency.

Bridesmaids now dress like hookers or hustlers. The busts seem like apples on the point of falling off trees, bleached thighs on display like freshly baked doughnuts. More fabric is used on the ground than on the front and back of the body. Some brides spend more time purchasing revealing wedding dresses, showing more skin and cleavage.

 

Even as a woman, I cringe at some wedding gowns. I cannot imagine how men tolerate seeing the bride immodestly dressed. I ponder at the support of the 'husbands to be'. How are you satisfied with your bride's attire like a half-peeled banana? I also wonder at the fogeys. Do the old-fashioned and conservative people exist? Why are they speechless? Is there nothing godly anymore, nothing Holy?

Dear Single Ladies & Bridesmaids!

Don't let the devil use you. No man of import will pursue you on account of your bare behind or frontals. 

If you're true royalty, you may dress like one. Let me put it this way. Cover your breast, cover your thighs, cover your bottom. Your knickers and bras are undergarments. Put on some real clothes and dress like a queen.

These so-called "hot celebrities" will end up in the hottest place afterlife if they do not repent and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Half-dressed is still nakedness in God's Holy Eyes!

Nakedness in God's sight refers to a woman exposing her legs, thighs, cleavage, tight dress, sheer tops, plunging necklines, and leggings which show the curves, shape, contours, and anatomy of your body. 

The evil one has deceived many women of this generation that exposing your thighs, shape of the hips and wearing plunging neckline dress showing cleavage is fashionable and attractive, while the devil and his wicked are laughing and mocking at such ladies because they know that, if they die in that state they are going straight to hellfire. 

They are also causing many men to commit adultery in their hearts by lusting after the women's nakedness and sin before a God who is known as Holy, Righteous One, the Judge of All the Earth. 

A man's mind does not stop a woman's moving her feet, but he is tempted and must force himself to think pure or allow that lust. 

A Godly woman understands this truth and is "Very Careful" not to arouse the opposite sex with her body movements and uncovering flesh. Women must be careful and alert. 

God Hates Immorality, Seductiveness & Immodest Clothing:

It's time for Christian ladies to wake up and make a vow with their own body as a living sacrifice unto the Lord in purity. 

The devil has influenced and lowered many women's bodies as an instrument of lust. God wants all men and women to turn away from nakedness, seductiveness, immoral dressing, and sensual clothing.

The Days Are Evil:

We are living in a wicked world where people call evil good. They think it is perfectly acceptable for women to wear a tight dress, half dresses, mini-skirt, and expose their cleavage, body shape, and thighs and legs seductively in a sensual manner. 

There are many women in the Church, streets, offices, and media exposing their legs (mini-skirt), thighs, curves, and cleavage to be admired and praised. The Bible calls it "Wickedness". 

It's a sin for a woman to expose her body. A woman's body is very "Seductive" and "Sensitive" to a man. Christian women and ladies ought to wear skirts that go beyond their knees, loose and somewhat baggy. 

Clothing materials should not be of a sheer fabric which is "See-Through" with the sun behind you. Many women wear thin clothing that reveals "Everything" when standing with the sun behind them.

How You Dress Speak Much About You!

The way you dress affects the way you feel. If you dress like a harlot (Jezebel), that is how you are going to feel about yourself. 

You can't deny that, not unless Satan has killed your consciousness. The way you dress, speak volume about you.

Don't follow the crowd because the crowd is always wrong. You are on the broadway, leading you to the path of destruction.
