Russia has brought more troops to the Ukrainian border, and the Threat of war seems greater than ever. It is still unclear whether Putin has the political will to engage in full-scale hostilities.
Russia has brought at least 130,000 troops to Ukraine's border, and US Intelligence says it is already attacking Ukraine this week. Experts estimate that a large-scale war is still unlikely , although its risk has increased.
US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the situation in Ukraine over the phone yesterday. However, despite the debate, the situation showed no signs of easing.
Russia wants its demands to be accepted and then only relaxed. Russia still has a lot of room to tighten up. According to the latest data, some of the troops appear to have moved closer to the Ukrainian border, but are not yet in attack positions.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Christians are praying outdoors, in the snow, for their country in this phase of war danger.
Tomorrow will be a day of fasting and prayer organized by local church officials in Ukraine.
