Long Island Medium is an American Reality Television Series starring Theresa Caputo, a self-professed medium who claims she can communicate with the dead. 

From her hit television show to live shows across the country, Theresa, 52, has made her money by convincing the public that she can communicate with the dead.

 

"On television, she is almost always absolutely right, but in her live shows, we saw her attack time and time again," the journalist revealed.

Another technique Theresa supposedly uses is that when she gets it wrong, she will blame the spirit, telling the guests that the spirit intended to convey this message to someone else.

Other Popular Television Shows like Ghost Hunters, Talking to the Dead, Ghost Adventures, and Paranormal Witness suggest that communicating with spirits is quite possible. But what does the Bible say about talking to the dead?

No one can talk to the Dead, no more than anyone from the dead can speak to you. Read Luke chapter 16:19-31 where Abraham replies to the Rich man, saying, "If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead."

The Old Testament teaches that believers are defiled by their attempts at communicating with the dead, a practice that is detestable to God.

The New Testament instructs believers to seek guidance from God and his Spirit only. 

The Bible reveals that psychic experiences are real but demonic and that deceiving spirits are counterfeits of the true Spirit of God.

“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God. ~Leviticus 19:31

With the help of the Holy Spirit, let us get rid of things that will keep us out of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Think about your Eternity (Life after Death).

Give your life to Christ now before it is too late.

Jesus taught a life of modesty, humility, peacefulness, avoidance of argument and strife, “turning the other cheek”, living right, doing right, consideration for your neighbor, simplicity, contentment with little, moral purity, virtue, and goodness. He preached against excessive pride, argument, strife, and anger. In Galatians 5 we read from Verse 19-26

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such, there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Families Who Fight Over Inheritance

150 years from now, none of us reading this post today will be alive. 70 percent to 100 percent of everything we are fighting over right now will be totally forgotten. Underline the word, TOTALLY. 

If we go back in memory lane to 150 years before us, that will be 1872, none of those that carried the world on their heads then are alive today. Almost all of us reading this will find it difficult to picture anybody's face of that era.

Pause for a while and imagine how some of them betrayed their relatives and sold them as slaves for a piece of mirror. Some killed family members just for a piece of land or tubers of yam or cowries or for a pinch of salt. Where is the yam, cowries, mirror, or salt that they were using to brag? It may sound funny to us now, but that is how silly we humans are sometimes, especially when it comes to power or trying to be relevant.

Even when you claim the internet age will preserve your memory, take Michael Jackson as an example. Michael Jackson died in 2009, that was just 13 years ago. Imagine the influence Michael Jackson had all over the world when he was alive. Gosh, he was like a god. How many young people of today remember him with awe, that is if they even know him? In 150 years to come, his name, when mentioned, will not ring any bell to a lot of people.

In spite of his popularity, the majority of people will never be known worldwide like him.  

 

Let us take life easy. Nobody will get out of this world alive. The land you are fighting and ready to kill for, somebody left that land, the person is dead, rotten, and forgotten. That will also be your fate. In 150 years to come, none of the vehicles or phones we are using today to brag will be relevant. 

Let love lead. Be genuinely happy for each other. No malice, no backbiting. No jealousy. No comparison. It is not a competition. At the end of the day, we all have the same destiny in the grave. It is just a question of who gets there first, but surely we will all go there.

You are sharing the Word of God on social networks, preaching, evangelizing, or even speaking in tongues but living in sin at the same time. God will say to you on that day, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness (sins)!" 

Only those who Obey the Will of God and His Word can enter Heaven.

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 

And in 1 John 1:5-7:

God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Run away from the pleasures of the world and give yourself to Christ.

Many are dying in the world, especially in this pandemic. Preachers say, "Tomorrow is promised to no one" but in this pandemic "Next second is promised to no one."

Jesus, Himself said in Matthew 7:13, The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 

Many are heading to hellfire because they love things of this World. 

If God puts you in Hell, you can call on His name all through eternity. That's the time, that not even His name will be able to pull the flames of hell off of you because it is not His will for Him to put you in hell but you rejected Christ while you were living on earth.

You better flee from worldly pleasures, temptations, addictions, and evil habits that belong to the kingdom of darkness or it will be too late!

If you can't recognize your sin, stay in sin, or love your sin, then you will be eternally separated from God which is Hell.

My! My!! My!!! What is this life worth?

A man was informed about the death of his father, but his son delayed. When his father started smelling, their neighbors took his father to the mortuary.

A week later, his son went to the mortuary to see the dead body of his father. When he was about to enter the place, there was a poster placed at the entrance of the mortuary, of which no one can escape it. It read:

"WE WERE LIKE YOU BEFORE, BUT WE ARE HERE NOW.”

The young boy read it, but it didn't make any sense to him. He went inside, checked the dead body of his father, and stepped out.  As he was about to step outside, he saw another signboard placed on a deliberate location, which no one can escape to read. It says:  

"YOU WILL SOON BE LIKE US."  

This last word touched his stony heart and he repented without delay. From that moment, he understood, that everything here on earth is like a dream, a vapor. Life itself is not real, as everything is temporal.

When he got to his father’s mansion, there was nobody to talk to. His father left his shoes, clothes, money, bed, cars, EVERYTHING. As he was searching his father's wardrobes, he saw untouched brand new dollars, well packed and arranged, but the owner of the money was in the mortuary. 

The young boy remembered,

“WE WERE LIKE YOU BEFORE, BUT YOU WILL SOON JOIN US.” He cried the more.

📌  You eat chicken with vegetables and fish, turkey, meat, fried rice, and drink wine today, but tomorrow, your flesh becomes food for maggots. 

📌  You drive a nice car today, but tomorrow, the ambulance drives you.

📌  You live in a mansion today, but tomorrow you live in the burial ground.

📌  You sleep in a nice bed today, but tomorrow, you sleep inside the Grave!

Where will your soul go to? Don’t play with your soul? It is dangerous. The soul is the Real You. Do you know that your soul lives on after death? 

It will either go to Heaven or Hell.

You will lose everything if you die without GOD and without living for Him.

Please, come to JESUS. Reconcile with your creator, and have a genuine change of heart, so that your living on earth shall bring God's Glory.

You might think you are in right standing with God therefore this message is not for you but for SINNERS. You may deceive yourself but examine yourself before it’s too late.

When I Entered The Mortuary

The day I entered the mortuary, what I saw was indescribable.

Dead bodies are laid down on the bare floor and completely naked. They were more than fifty. Some bodies were placed on the tables while others were placed in the storage cabinets. Women and Men were placed together. They were dead and completely naked with their private parts uncovered.

When we pushed Mr. John inside, the attendant removed all his clothes. He was dead and naked. They placed his body on a plank of wood. I looked at him but he could not fight back. He could not use his hands to cover his nakedness and I asked myself, what is this life all about?  

 

If you go to the mortuary you will realise that...

📌 The poor will die some day, the rich also dies someday.

📌 Both the rich and poor are sharing the some room.

📌 The poor will be buried six feet underneath the ground, the rich also will be buried six feet underneath the ground. 

Both the rich and poor, white and black, tall and short, fat and slim, ugly and beautiful, the only thing we all have in common is breath and death. Take it or leave it!

👉 Why are we struggling to possess everything?

👉 Why are we having pride and ego as if we own the world?

👉 Why can't we forgive one another and know that vanity over vanity and all is nothing but vanity?

In the Mortuary, house owners, degree holders, car owners, all kinds of people were lying on top of one another, naked without any shame. 

Ladies too, with different hairstyles, how they dressed in fashion are now naked in the mortuary.   

Life is nothing! The position in your company is for a while. Riches and wealth are temporary. I don't know when you and I are leaving this world. 

But I know of what will happen to us when we are no more.

Let us be better than yesterday.

Let us be more humble than yesterday.

Let us be more forgiving than yesterday.

Let us be more humane than before.

Because I have seen that life is nothing and death is certain. 

LET US ALL REPENT AND MAKE PEACE WITH GOD.

I hope this message makes someone out there re-evaluate his or her life.

She Demanded To Be Buried With A Fork

There was a lady who had been diagnosed with a terminal sickness and had been given three months to live. So as she was setting her things in order, she reached her Pastor and had him come to her home to talk about specific parts of her last wishes. 

She let him know which songs she needed to be sung during the funeral service, what scriptures she would like them to read, and what outfit she desired to be buried in. 

The lady additionally wanted to be buried with her favorite Bible. Everything was in order and the Pastor was getting ready to depart when the lady suddenly remembered something important to her. 

"There's another thing," she energetically said to the Pastor. 

"What's that?" came the Pastor's answer. 

"Pastor, this is vital! It's extremely important to me," the lady proceeded. "I need to be buried with a fork in my right hand." 

The Pastor stood stunned, not knowing very what to say.

"That shocks you, doesn't it?" the lady inquired. 

"Well, to be honest, I'm confused by your request," said the Pastor. 

The lady explained. "In all my years of attending Church gatherings and potluck dinners, I always remember that when delicious dishes were served, we would enjoy the meal but after the dishes were cleared from the table, people would unavoidably hang over and say, "Keep your fork." 

So, this is one of my most favorite parts because I realized that something better was coming after a meal. They would serve smooth chocolate cake, thick-style fruity dessert, trifle puddings and deep-dish apple pie. Something exquisite, but with an essence! 

Hence, I simply need every individual to see me there in that coffin with a fork in my hand. I want them to consider, "What's with the fork?"

Then, I need you to tell them: "Keep Your Fork! The Best is Yet To Come!" 

The Pastor’s eyes swelled with tears of bliss as he embraced the lady farewell. He knew this would be one of the last times he would see her before her death. He additionally realized that the lady had a better understanding of Heaven. She Knew that something "Greater" was coming after her death.

At the burial service, people were walking by the lady's coffin and they saw her pretty dress she was wearing along with her favorite Bible and the fork placed in her right hand. 

People began to think, "What's with the fork? Why does she have it on her right hand?" 

During his message, the Pastor told the people of the discussion he had with the lady shortly before she passed on. He additionally informed them regarding the fork and about what it symbolized to her. Her explanation has now touched thousands!

Pastor himself could not stop thinking about the fork and knew they probably would not be able to stop thinking about it either. He was right. "Keep The Fork. The Best Is Yet To Come." 

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. ~Revelations 21:4

Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.' ~Matthew 25:34

Hell | No Exot & No Return

There are things you can do on earth and reverse them.

There are places you can go now, and you can come back later.

There are people you are seeing now, you will still meet them later.

A prisoner may still come back home after many years.

There are chances that you might reconcile with your enemies.

The car you bought can be sold; the clothes you bought can be sold; you can pack out from the flat you rented; you can resign from the job you accepted.

🔥But get ready for this Truth! 🔥

Anyone that goes to Hell after death, can't come back again. 

❌ No amount of "prayer" can save them.

❌ No amount of "pleading" can help them.

❌ Calling the name of "Jesus" in Hell is a waste of time.

❌ Calling their "family" can't help them.

❌ Calling their "pastor" can't save them.

❌ Calling their "relatives" can't do anything for them.

Because Hell Is A Point Of No Return

❌ Confessing Sin in Hell is a waste of time.

❌ Their offering and tithe won't help.

❌ Their service for God on earth will not count.

❌ Years of labor will be in vain.

❌ Educational achievement will be a curse.

❌ Fake church titles will attract more punishment.

❌ Active participants and volunteers in Church who were living unholy will end up in Hell.

❌ Ministers and Pastors who did not preach the truth will end up in Hell.

Because Hell Is A Point Of No Return

❌ $850, 000, 000,000,000,0000 as bank account balance won't save your soul.

❌ Private Jets won't help you. 

❌ Luxury Cars cannot drive you into hell.

❌ U.S Marine, CIA, FBI are powerless and cannot rescue you.

Because Hell Is A Point Of No Return

❌ If all the houses a man has sold and given to the poor, it cant reverse the decision of God if he or she is living unholy and unrighteous before the Holy God.

Once someone enters Hell; it is the point of no return. Please, don't go there!!

Repent and Accept Jesus Christ while you still have the time! (John 3:16)

How To Enter Into Heaven

🌼 URGENT QUESTIONS YOU MUST ASK YOURSELF

1. Is my Name written in the Book of Life?

2. Am I Rapture ready?

3. Am I really Born-Again Christian? 

4. Am I living in Holiness and pursuing the path of Righteousness?

5. How can I know for sure that I will go to Heaven when I Die? 

Many individuals have a passport to travel. Without a passport, you can't freely travel overseas. This is valid and the same for anybody who needs to be in Heaven. You can never enter Heaven except if you have what is required to enter into God's Heavenly and Everlasting residence. Since God is Holy and loathes all sin, wickedness, and wrongdoings, He cannot acknowledge or receive anybody into Heaven who is defiled, corrupted, and contaminated by iniquity, sin, and transgression.

Now, with that being said, are you fit to enter Heaven? We must admit that we all have sinned but have you repented and turned from your wicked ways? If you continue to live a sinful lifestyle and think that you can keep on sinning, then your soul is in danger of going to Hell.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~Romans 6:23 

🌼 HOW DO I GET A HEAVENLY PASSPORT?

Most of us have experienced the need to have a passport and the amount of time and money it takes to get one but how much time have you put into obtaining a passport to Heaven and how do you get one?

Thomas asked Jesus what he should do? 

Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?" ~John 14:5 

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." ~John 14:6  

 

🌼 ARE THERE MANY WAYS TO HEAVEN?

With so many 'gods', and so many 'religions' in the world today, it makes us ask, how many ways are there to Heaven? There is no route to Heaven except through Jesus Christ. He was sent by the Father God to come onto this earth and create a bridge to connect man to God. 

But the arrogant and the proud will suggest that there are diverse ways, millions of ways, and many paths to what they call God. False! It is a lie from the pit of Hell! There is Only "One Gospel" and Jesus Christ is the Only "Way to Heaven"!

🌼 WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A HEAVENLY PASSPORT:

Now we understand that Jesus is the only way to the Father but what must I do to receive that passport to Heaven? Are they many requirements? Is there a lot of work to get to Heaven?

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. ~Romans 10:9 

Just Believe in Jesus with all your heart and confess Him with your mouth. There is no such thing as a closet Christian. If you truly believe with your heart, then you would also be proud and want everyone to know that Jesus is a part of your life, right?

🌼 WHAT DO WE GAIN FROM BELIEVING IN JESUS? 

We will be raised up in the end by our Lord and King Jesus Christ!  

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. ~John 6:44 

I want more than anything to be picked up by my Lord as He looks at me in my eyes and tells me, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

His Lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.' ~Matthew 25:21 

🌼 ARE YOU READY TO MEET JESUS?

Are you ready to meet the Lord Jesus after your death? If you are not ready to meet Christ, you will not spend eternity with Him. If you miss Heaven, you can never miss Hell.

Do you think that you will be told by Jesus that you are a good and faithful servant? Or will Jesus say, "I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness." 

Worker of lawlessness means, you deliberately violated God's Law. In other words, you practiced wickedness. You preferred sin and wrongdoing.

Again, I ask you, do you have your passport to Heaven? Don't be left behind with no passport. The time to get your Heavenly passport is Now! Don’t wait and don't delay because tomorrow is not promised to anyone. What if your breath stops the next second?

🌼 DO YOU WANT TO ENTER HEAVEN? 

Then take this opportunity to apply for your Heavenly passport. Accept the free gift of salvation that God offers you through His Son. 

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. ~Acts 16:31 

You may ask Jesus to give you this salvation through prayer right now. You could use the following prayer to help you, but be sure the words are sincere from your own heart.

PRAYER 

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I am guilty and deserve your judgment. I want to be saved and come to heaven, so please forgive my sins, and come into my life as my Lord and Savior. Help me from this day forward to live in faith and obedience. Thank you for giving your life for me, in Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
