Wife Celebrates Her Abusive Husband’s Death

Marsha Widener is a woman from Oklahoma, United States. Her married life was not easy. Therefore, when her husband passed away, she gave him a farewell befitting the life he led.

Don Widener passed away in 2017, but the farewell that his widow gave him at that time made his memory remain, although it was not a tribute or a monument, but quite the opposite: a domestic, private, and highly cathartic ceremony.

"Last goodbye to the grungy bast ***", is the title of his video. In it, Marsha records, on cell phone footage, her farewell to her former husband.

"I know that they will not understand why I am doing this," she begins, with an urn in hand. And she explains: "This is Don Widener. His family doesn't want him, his brother doesn't want him, and his kids don't want him. In fact, they wanted him to go down the toilet."

She explains that Don used to work as a garbage collector and drive a truck that went to the dump every day. So it seemed perfectly fitting that it was there that his ashes rested for the last time.

Unceremoniously, and with a cheerful gesture, Marsha tossed the urn into the container, left with the bag of ashes in her hand. And then she opened it.

It is not, of course, just a professional matter: as she throws away the ashes, she explains the beatings and mistreatment to which she was subjected and the damage that was caused to her and her children while alive.

"This is for all the pain and torment that he has caused my children and me, and his parents. So this is his farewell," she said, dumping more ashes into the trash.

She also dropped some ash on the ground, trampling the ashes and remembering the way he treated her when she was alive. And she celebrated when the empty bag finally fell into the container as well. "Goodbye, friend!".

Many Internet users have comments with dedicated words of support and affection. They wished Marsha a better life after her lucky break.
