British Mother Homeschools 9 Of Her 22 Children

The Radford family is the largest in the United Kingdom. Sue and Noel have 22 children and six grandchildren, but will now add to their family with the arrival of a new baby in September.

"Another beautiful grandson on the way", they wrote on their social networks to announce the new pregnancy, in this case, their daughter-in-law. Sue is 46 years old and Noel is 50 and they have been parents for 31 years. The youngest of her daughters is currently one year old.

The parents have already assured that they will not have more children, but the family will continue to grow with the arrival of more grandchildren.

They estimate that raising their children will cost them more than a million dollars. "I try not to think too much about what it costs. What could I have had instead?" the father said.

A bakery is a family business that supports the 18 children who still live with them. "It's about $30,000 just to keep the house running and feed everyone. So we have to sell a lot of cakes to support everyone!" Noel confessed.

The arrival of the pandemic caused them to close their store. However, it did not mean an economic collapse for this family since they began to sell their cakes online and doubled their sales.

Babies crying, children asking for help with homework, and teenagers asking for food are part of the daily scene faced by Sue Radford, a 45-year-old British mother who shares 22 children with her husband, Noel, 49.

The large family tries to deal with the day-to-day challenge of raising this number of children in the midst of a pandemic.

The Radford family regularly posts videos on YouTube to detail the daily juggling of this large family.

One of the most difficult issues is related to the process of educating children. The difficulty in managing the home and keeping an eye on all the issues of children and young people is evident.
