Most People Today Hypocrite And Fake

The Bible tells us that a hypocrite is someone who puts on a mask and pretends to be something he is not. God is the ultimate judge of character.

Surely you know of a person who from his mouth presents himself in one way, although his actions are exactly the opposite, and many times, with intentions to harm. In everyday behaviors, they are framed as toxic and harmful towards others.

Hypocritical people have a public face and a private face. They use different masks depending on the situation to take advantage of others by making opportunism their banner. They pretend to be what they are not, usually to profit, receive social approval or place themselves above others.

In fact, the word hypocrisy comes from an ancient Greek word, hupokrisis, which literally means "stage." In that context, a hypocrite, or  hupokrités, was simply an actor, someone who pretended to be someone else on stage.

As an example, these are some attitudes that show behaviors that may be false or hypocritical in front of others:

1. They show a smile from the front, and criticize you mercilessly from behind.

2. They change their behavior in front of you in a very noticeable way.

3. If you confront them, they will fight, argue, or compete with you.

4. They focus on their own world and do not care what the person feels.

5. They constantly pretend in those situations.

6. A fake person uses lies, denial, misrepresentation, and revenge as tools.

7. They have a predominance trait and great gossipers.

8. They only approach in peace to get something in return.

9. They appear in good times, and disappear in bad times.

10. They ignore you and let you know so you feel it more.

11. They promise too much, and they do not deliver on almost anything.

12. They weave networks into which innocent people fall with the sole purpose of deceiving and misleading them with their lies.

13. They do not answer calls or requests. They want to show superiority.

14. They have an innate sense of law and morality. They are above the law and are not bound by it.

15. The fault is never theirs, they always have an excuse at hand.

Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. ~Matthew 23:27-28
