A video posted on YouTube by worship leader Sean Feucht features an Iraqi man sharing his powerful encounter with Jesus.
Sean and his "Heart and Hands" Iraq Crew met this Yazidi man whose name they held for security reasons.
Apparently, they were in a certain place in Iraq where most of the Yazidis live. This group is the most persecuted ethnic and religious minority in the country.
And surprisingly, the man who relates his supernatural experiences with God was at one point a hostage of ISIS.
The believer told the group that he had been imprisoned and tortured for ISIS for two months. But he added that Jesus saved him from that torment.
When ISIS found out that he was a follower of Jesus, they hit him with large blocks on his body. To which he replied: "The stones were not affecting me."
Furthermore, this brave Christian testified how he survived being burned alive. He said: "And last time, they doused me with 20 liters of kerosene. They burned me, but I didn't burn myself."
The Yazidi man also revealed how ISIS pressured him to convert to Islam. He later testified that Jesus appeared to him twice and that He spoke to him.
However, when asked what Jesus said to him, he replied, “No, I can't tell you what He said. It is a promise between Christ and me."
Sean, for his part, revealed that the encounter with that man was the first supernatural experience they had in Iraq.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and if by the rivers, they will not drown you. When you pass through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flame burn in you.” ~Isaiah 43:2
