China Rewrites The Bible

China continues to abuse the strict minorities by revising the Bible to fit the Chinese Marxist regulation. The purpose of 'modifying the Bible' is to conform to President Xi's communist belief system.

The strange request came from one of the top Chinese Committee. New versions and text must adhere to the "President Xi Jinping".

"Jesus Christ's Parables" should fall in accordance with the Communist Party, failing which they will be removed from the Bible and will no longer be accessible to the Believers.

The famous Gospel scene in which Jesus forgives the adulterous woman was altered in a school text in China.

The Gospel scene found in John 8:2-11 in which Jesus forgives the adulterous woman who was about to be put to death by stoning by the scribes and Pharisees was altered in a school text in China.

In the original text, after the woman is brought to Jesus, He replies to the Pharisees and scribes: “Whoever of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” And, after all the accusers leave in shame,  this dialogue follows:

“Then he got up and, seeing only the woman there, asked her: 'Woman, where are those who accused you? Has no one condemned you?' She replied, 'No one, Lord.' Then Jesus said to him, 'Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.'”

However, the text of the Chinese school book presents the following version  "When the crowd disappeared, Jesus stoned the sinner to death, saying: 'I too am a sinner. But if the law could only be carried out by men without blemish, the law would be dead.'"

A Parishioner from mainland China who published the textbook on social media claimed that this forgery is an insult to the Chrisitan Church. He said, that "I want everyone to know that the Chinese Communist Party is always trying to distort Church history, slander our Church, and make people hate our Church."

The number of Catholics in China is estimated at more than 10 million faithful, according to a US government report earlier this year. The same report pointed out that the Chinese government has intensified the persecution of religious minorities, in this area.

Massimo Introvigne, an Italian sociologist of religions and founder of the Center for Studies on New Religions, states that the Chinese Communist Party, wants to paint a negative image of Jesus, and use him to cover up its own corruption.

Controlling religion is nothing new in the Communist country. Pictures of the Virgin Mary in Catholic churches are replaced with one of Xi Jinping.

Chen Yu, a Chinese Christian missionary was severely punished for selling Chrisitan distributions that were not approved by the public authority of China. He was awarded by a court with a seven-year jail sentence and a roughly $30,000 USD fine.

Christians in China who won't adapt to the Communist Party's plan are under exceptional tension. Government limitations are becoming more tight, and China's ability to keep an eye on and control its populace is uncommon. Those who do not abide by the rules of religion in China will be severely punished. They will be tormented, manhandled, captured, confined, and condemned to jail.
