Archie Battersbee, the 12-year-old boy who spent months in a coma due to a viral challenge, finally dies.
Archie fell into a state of brain death when performing the "blackout challenge".
It is a challenge that went viral on the platform and that consists of recording yourself while holding your breath until you pass out.
Although the videos have since been taken down, they became infamous because the guys who made them were looking to get likes.
Likewise, they were used by young people to reach millions of users and thus get more views.
In addition to Archie, it is known that a 10-year-old girl from Italy also died carrying out the "blackout challenge" in January 2021.
