China 's government is asking hospitals in the Xinjiang region to abort babies and "kill" the unborn due to population control issues; otherwise they will face heavy ends.
If they do not abide by government orders, doctors can be fined large sums of money. A new report released by The Christian Post news portal ensures that several health centers are being forced to take action against the unborn.
Hasiyet Abdulla , an obstetrician from the region who has worked in hospitals in the area for more than 15 years, supports the report with his comments.
The doctor reportedly told Radio Free Asia ( RFA ) that maternity wards are implementing strict family planning policies aimed at restricting Xinjiang couples' number of children to just 3.
“Each hospital had a family planning unit that was responsible for implementation – who had how many children, when did they give birth – they monitored all of this,” he said.
“The regulations were so strict: there had to be three or four years between the children. There babies were born at nine months that we killed after inducing labor. They did that in the maternity wards, because those were the orders," he declared.
Abdulla told RFA that babies were aborted even if their mothers were "eight and nine months pregnant."
In addition, I have stated that in some cases, doctors "killed babies" after they had been born.
The bodies of the little ones were not even safe, the professional assured; since shortly after they were discarded.
"They wouldn't give the baby to the parents, they kill the babies when they are born," he said.
“It is an order that has been given from above, it is an order that has been printed and distributed in official documents. Hospitals are fined if they don't comply, so of course they do .
Other reports have backed this up, revealing how the Chinese Communist Party has worked to reduce birth rates in Xinjiang .
Apparently, they have used the abuse of power to forcibly sterilize many women.
In June, Adrian Zenz , a scholar and chronicler of Beijing 's atrocities in Xinjiang , documented how authorities fined women in the area who had more than three children.
Apart from this, they were forced to undergo pregnancy tests; and if necessary, to sterilization surgeries.
